Because you want to be a martyr (oh sorry I won't use that since you will just pull a wikipedia definition on it and we will be back at square one) on an online hockey forum suppose you can have that. I'm not even in professional hockey circles but in senior executive circles and this happens all the time. Men 10 years ago that couldn't get a date or find a companion and become wealthy at 50 yrs old and all the sudden they are irresistible to to young women....... listen I dont like it either but to take the ostrich approach and pretend it is not a common normal is just uninformed and frankly a poor take.
I will continue to proudly use the term "gold digger" since it is an all to common occurence.....
