Oversimplistic. I think most are on the women’s side here based on her between the lines plea for help in what is seemingly a dbag of a husband. If you seen indications of this behaviour, in general, would you marry a person like this? Maybe he has redeeming qualities (and probably does as he is human) with which a person may marry a person like this. Would it financial stability? Could be as well. One side of the spectrum is the aforementioned bad word. But it wasn’t necessarily attributed to this situation but athletes in general. It’s possible in any circumstance and it happens. Misogynistic word is a bit of a stretch for me. All in all I feel for his wife. What her motivations are in this circumstance I don’t want to speculate on aside from that what she mentioned which appears to be genuine.
