As for Kane, I'd expect nothing but a denial. It's from the politician handbook really - deny, deny, deny, until there are facts to prove otherwise - then make amends. I doubt she has evidence on him, but I don't think he's clean.

There is no way she should get a pass if her story is not true. He could be a problem gambler and still not bet on his own games. Jagr is another famous gambler who lost a lot. Doesn’t automatically make him a deadbeat. If someone said that about me and tried to ruin me I would call them much worse then mentally unwell.
