So the trade would have to be Tkachuk + Mangiapane + Monahan + Valimaki + Dube and a combination of futures? Of course that would make us weaker… but Monahan + Dube + Valimaki + 1st for Eichel arguably would make us stronger once Eichel was healthy no? You have to give to get in this league and no matter which way you slice it Eichel is better than every player you’ve mentioned above and there is no way it would take ALL of those players to land him. I think the longer this goes the better it ends up being for the team that ultimately trades for him and I’m hoping the Flames finally go all in rather than playing safe until they can no longer ante in.
