Yes, if he goes to arbitration he's a UFA next year regardless. I still think that his value at the deadline would be at or more than a 3rd round pick. That's why I'm not too worried about it. If he just stays here for one year it's still better than spending a 3rd round pick on 15 games of Gustafsson. Hopefully he likes it here and is a fit long term, if he isn't then we'll keep searching.
