Yeesh, the surgeon says a fusion would mean realistically a 25% chance of another fusion every 10 years, whereas the disk replacement is a one and done procedure because it by definition allows the same mobility to exist instead of increasing the stress above and below the rigid fused portion of the neck.

After hearing the difference between the 2 options when it comes to realistic long term comfort, I can see why Eichel's side is pushing for the disk replacement.
