Actually, we should sticky what we know or what ppl are saying they know about Buffalo's Eichel demands.
1. Don't want to trade in the east
2. They want 4 futures
3. They don't want cap hit
4. Kevin Adam's is in no rush
Those 4 off the top of my head.

They may not WANT cap hit, but trading Eichel without cap coming back will leave them almost $20m under the floor.
I'm sure their plan is to dump Eichel for "futures" and then buy more "futures" around the league by way of taking on bad players with bad contracts (making it easier to "not win" and go for another lottery)... but there's no reason they can't do both at the same time as part of the Eichel trade.
Edit: By the way, this is exactly what I would do if I took over a team like the Flames. Sell my best players for high-quality picks and prospects, getting my cap as low as possible, and then buy my way back up to the floor by taking on the James Neals of the league from teams in exchange for lower quality picks and prospects. Stock the system with good stuff and filler stuff, ice a team of losers that costs just enough to meet the floor requirements, and get some decent top 5 picks for 2-3 seasons of sucking until the bad contracts start to expire and the good prospects start to mature. Bam! Playoff contender.
