Steep steep price paid by giving up Woods-Richardson. Probably a fair trade all things considered, because of the team control. As for if Pearson is available, I’d personally hope not. On one hand Jays management probably doesn’t see him mentally putting it together. At the baseball level, high prospects seemingly fall off the map every year. I just don’t want to believe in under a year things have gone that badly for him where you’re willing to give up the #1 prospect in Baseball America from a year or so ago. I’m also not convinced this is the year to go all in with the Dodgers pitching getting stronger by the minute.
