I’ve come to terms with it working out either way with eichel. I’ll be disappointed if the flames don’t get eichel but I’ll still be excited for the start of the season either way.
On the positive side, if the flames don’t acquire eichel, I think the team will still be improved from last year - especially if Monahan is 100% healthy. And I also think the flames finally have a good cupboard of prospects (Zary, Pelletier, Coronato, Wolf) - that cupboard could be very diminished if they make the eichel trade.
Definitely want the flames to extend Gaudreau though. He’s a very rare talent and the team’s offence depends so much on him.
