Yup. I think the narrative of what a Sutter player is doesn't match the reality. Sutter values defense and values controlling the puck, he LOVES it when those skills intersect with size and nastiness, but plenty of examples where he lets players play to their skillset. Gaborik in LA comes to mind... he didn't find himself in Sutter's dog house often even though no one would think of him as a Sutter player... in a small sample size it's been the same with Johnny Hockey. Don't give the puck away, cover your assignments, and do that with a high pace, seems like that is what Sutter wants.
