May or may not mean anything. Sometimes these guys are told to keep stuff quiet. Right or wrong I’m certain Treliving is in on this. He loves to measure his schlong against others by acquiring a big fish even at the cost of excessive futures. When it comes to the cap situation for most GM’s in on him I’m sure this needs to get resolved soon as each team needs to move on to other deals signings. I’ll go out of limb and say if it’s not done in the next ten days it’s not done until next offseason.
