Not sure where to put this, but I think the negativity around the flames is unwarranted. By all metrics, the flames will be competitive next year and the off-season isn’t over yet.

I've seen almost no one suggest they'll be bad.
I'm fact many have complained thet won't be bad enough to get a great draft pick.
I'm sure concensus of the roster as of right now would be a team competing for the lower playoff spots and might get in to the playoffs.
Mediocre yes, but not bad.
