I think they would reluctantly part with Valimaki for Eichel.
With Zadorov, Mackay, Kylington gives them enough depth there for this season and who knows, Gio might come back on a short term deal the next season.
I think Sutter may prefer Mackay anyways. Just as big, just as mobile, tougher and more physical, not the same offensive upside as Valimaki but if it means getting Eichel, you do it.
Kinnvall is also in the mix for NHL ice.
