That said, there's several local firms who could absolutely do this building with no 'starchitect' needed - and perhaps even better than what we're first seeing. The talent is here in the city. CMLC just has to have the balls to give them the chance... and that'll never happen, of course.

I haven't done much reading on the project, so I assumed (and was a little surprised) that Dialog was the design architect. HOK leading the charge is less surprising.
Yeah, it always frustrates me that almost all of the big projects in the city go to "outside" for designers.
