He is actually fantastic off the rush, his skating is really good for a guy his size. When he was with Colorado he would be one of the defenders that was able to shutdown a guy like McDavid with his size and skating. The problem is that he easily gets lost when trying to defend a cycle.
The upside to him is that he can absolutely turn a game around with a huge hit, he is one of the biggest hitters in the league and almost every hit is clean. The downside is that refs hate him, he will get plenty of calls against him simply because he is bigger than someone. One of the most consistent things you'll probably notice is that opposing players tend to know he's on the ice and they are more likely to dump it in on his side to avoid getting smoked. His outlet passes are...not good, it's like he doesn't realize he is a gigantic human being and he just rips passes that people can't handle.

This is what we actually need though, someone who can actually clear the zone and not try to chip muffins up the boards.
