I can TOTALLY see the flames looking at the hope and dreams of 2 home playoff games this year, holding onto Gaudreau, and worse case scenario trying to dump him for whatever they can get at the deadline if they are out of the playoffs by at least 7 points (otherwise, they'll add more depth dmen with the hopes to get in, as always).

I guess the incentive is to sign a big deal with the Flames that could disappear. Or be traded right now to a team he doesn’t like. Like in an Eichel deal.
