I guess I won't lie and say I'm not worried at all about him refusing to sign, but I think the chance is tiny.

And even if that tiny chance materializes, he's going to let the Flames know this. And at that point, the Flames will trade him so you don't the pick for nothing. You'd probably be able to extract some decent value out of an Eastern team, which is what I assume his preference would be.

Overall, pretty excited about the pick.
