That gives Calgary a second line RW and a third line LW, while moving 5M in cap for Vegas and letting then try out two AHL all-stars. Sure, Gio's cap savings would be gone, but it would solve a few problems that the Flames have and also soften any trade involving Tkachuk or Gaudreau.
(I think Vegas goes hard after Landeskog)
