I can see why it's a chain reaction type of thing. If we get Eichel, then re-signing Gaudreau and/or Tkachuk (if he's not the main piece going back) is crucial.

If we can't get Eichel we could very easily be trading one or both in a rebuild here.

If we can get Eichel without gutting our team, we're looking good. I think a package of Monahan, a 1st, Valimaki, and a prospect (Pelletier or Zary maybe) could get it done and wouldn't decimate the team.
