Yep. If you ask me, trading for Eichel is the wrong call. The chamber would be emptied and there’s still a heck of a lot to do with the rest of the roster.
If I’m Buffalo I’m salivating that the flames might be thinking future picks in the deal, as it has the makings of EK 2.0. Flames would be precisely the team I’m targeting if I’m Kevyn Adams with pressure to win now and, objectively, not a great roster to carry out that agenda.
