A pretty poor team not bad enough to draft a guy as good as Eichel.

I think more than ever it makes sense to trade for Eichel. We drafted 2 more wingers with our top 2 picks. I think if we do trade for Eichel it’s probably related to contract talks with Tkachuk and Gaudreau. If one of those 2 move for picks and prospects we could then flip those picks and prospects plus a bit more to get Eichel. If Tkachuk and Johnny resign I think the Flames will back off on Eichel
