Wasnt Mackey Dman of the year in the AHL? Kylington an allstar at one point?
Time to give these guys a shot at the NHL level.
Same goes for forwards on the team.
Give the young guys a chance.
Dont gift them the position, make them earn it. That said we sign a lot of scrubs our AHL team should have no issues filling.
Lievo, Simon, etc.
Makes a big difference if the young guys on the team think they have a chance to actually make the roster.
Keeps them hungry!
Zary and Pelletier should be fighting for spots this year.
