Yeah, it seems baffling that they're just keeping their head down and ignoring it at this stage.
Especially with Gaudreau and Tkachuk both heading towards contractual milestones.
Hopefully something happens soon, because right now the team is just lost without a compass to even orient which way they should be going. I struggle to see improvement. Eichel could be that big punch, but then our defence is still quite suspect...so I'm not sure what the point of spending to the salary cap is when you can't fill your #1 centre spot or your #1 defenceman spot.
