It even had a nice plaque, and was "paid forward" from the current holder to their own-voted next holder. So since the league was quite large it took a long time to go from person to person and team to team, which also made it noteworthy and amusing.

Sorry I have to ask what racquet sports have more than 4 participants?

A $hithead of the game seems pretty petty in a 4 person sport.
