Lightning still need to move Johnson.
Lots of teams still need to move salary. No point in seattle helping those teams only to have them compete against them for UFAs and drive up the prices.
Seattle still has lots to do.
Their strategy is obvious, horde the defensemen and maintain as much cap space as possible.
