Kylington has impressed me the vast majority of the time, moreso than pretty much every LD not named Giordano. I know the appeal-to-authority types disagree, but I think he's a pretty good player and would thrive in an expanded (top4) role. His "gaffes" get overblown and his strong plays get grossly understated. He also rarely, if ever, gets the benefit of a Tanev type partner who'd be the perfect foil to his style of play.
