I also remember Treliving saying in his end-of-season presser that Tkachuk didn't skate a lot last offseason. Add in all the speculation about the Muzzin incident and I don't know what to believe as to why he seemed off. |
People do seem to forget that he left the Dallas series due to a concussion, never came back and reportedly it affected his off season quite a bit as well.
Hopefully he and Monahan come back healthy if they're not traded and bounce back big time.
