Would they honestly expect a 1st and a 3rd from Buffalo?

My point: it's silly to have a set asking price. It has to be team-by-team.

It's not silly at all, because there have been teams willing to pay that price, and there's always negotiation.


For the Vegas draft, both the Islanders and the Blue Jackets gave up first round picks for Vegas to select someone specific, and Jets swapped the 13th overall for the 24th overall and threw in a third for the same thing.
