Gross. The burger was (I think) microwaved which made the bun all soggy. Yuck. When did BK start microwaving things? Didnt the flame broil used to be their claim to fame?

As a former BK employee, I can tell you that the burgers are broiled. But they tend to broil more than they need to keep up with the rush. The ones that aren't immediately used are kept in a little oven type thing to keep them warm. When someone orders a burger, they take it out and then nuke the burger to make sure it's still warm. If you want to avoid this whole thing, when you order your burger, ask for it to be fresh off the broiler. Most people don't realize you can do that. You will have to wait a couple extra minutes, but trust me, it's worth it.
