Law isn't the only thing that matters when it comes to morals. What this guy did was disgusting, he wasn't stealing a loaf of bread to save his family here and now dealing unjustly with the legal system. He didn't do something consensually and got lost in some weird legal quicksand. He got off easy, if he did it in Canada, he's looking up at 5 years. But again, there's more to morals than laws. And this isn't in any way, shape or form, a typical "dude bro move", it's absolutely despicable framing it that way. I mean, read up on Amanda Todd for Christ sake.
