Few things of note for the organization:

- Voracek played really well under Hakstol in Philly
- Johansen is from Vancouver and played junior in Portland
- Zajac, Parise, Brock Nelson, Rocco Grimaldi, Drake Cagigula all played for Hakstoll in North Dakota.
- Cody Eakin was selected once in expansion draft by Vegas from Dallas (mainly because Buffalo has all crap exposed)
- Carey Price being from BC and wife being from Washington state
- Tyler Johnson, TJ Oshie, Derek Ryan all from Seattle area
- Seattle TBirds Allum still in NHL: Barzal, Theodore, Hickey, Bear, Marleau,
- UFA Brandon Sutter played for Francis 2010-2012. Skinner also had 30G season under him. perhaps a fit if bought out
