I don't think it's an issue of style for him. It's all about motivation. He shows up for the playoffs.
He's an interesting player. Everything you want in a top centre, size, speed, skill.
I also don't think that Nashville is a particularly good place to play for players who lack maturity and motivation, there seems to be a lot of distractions there.
He had pretty good seasons under a hard ass type coach in Laviolette, so I do wonder if he'd be a good fit for the Flames.
If the Preds could eat some salary and/or add to a deal, I wonder if a Monahan-Ryjo "change of scenery" trade might help both teams and players.
