I hope Gio isn’t selected, but it’s only a year
There are 2 Gios we have seen
- the one that is playing with a top shelf partner he can trust, like Brodie or Tanev, and is a top defender
- the one that plays with young guys who are still maturing, where he plays a more conservative game and doesn’t distinguish himself from the pack
Both of those guys are 38 now and nobody defeats Father Time
It’ll be interesting to see if Seattle takes a guy like that, still very, very good, but on the back 9 for sure, for one year
