Honestly I'd rather look for a forward with shorter term that a team maybe looking to move to open up cap space as more of a cap dump.
Zucker - 2 x $5.5M (29 years old)
Kadri - 1 x $4.5M (30 years old)
Palat - 1 x $5.3 (30 years old)
Kerfoot - 2 x $3.5M (26 years old)
JVR - 2 x $7M (32 years old - could probably get some salary retention)
Domi - 1 x $5.3M (26 years old)
All of these guys have popped up in a rumor around maybe being moved on the cheap this offseason. I'd rather take a look at one of these guys that have 1 or 2 years left on their deals as a cap dump, than go give Hyman or Schwartz a 6+ year deal.
