If Bean were available for cheap, I would be fine with exposing both Tanev and Gio.
Tanev would go down as a 1 year UFA signing win. Tough to see him leave, but having both Bean and Gio would be better, both short term and long term. Plus there would still be some cap savings.

Bean is basically another Valimaki. Same age, production, draft position. Valimaki is probably better defensively. But I think Bean has more offensive upside.
