I'm curious if the leafs are realizing that Marner, though a tremendous talent, is still overpaid for what he brings, especially outside the regular season.
I wonder if they'd prefer to use that money on a more gritty top 6 winger than on a high-skill, smaller/softer guy like marner?
A guy like Landeskog, hmm, Tkachuk???, would really round out that top 6 in my opinion.
