Hyman has never had more than 41 points. They're almost exactly the same age (Schwartz is younger) and they're both injury prone.
Schwartz also had 20 points in 26 games to win a cup. He arguably drives his line moreso than he relies on his line mates. Schenn benefitted from playing with him. It wasn't the other way around. Hyman had only 1 point in 7 playoff games this year. Career wise, he's not even half as productive as Schwartz in the playoffs.

They are both players that are likely to slow down in their 30's due to their style of play. I would pass on both as it seems like this is a case of a weak free agency class and a lot of needy teams. Looks like the 2016 free agency class all over again as this will be one we look at where a lot of teams cripple themselves with some bad contracts.
