Yep. Credit to Kipper as he actually played a season when his money dipped to $3 million as that's something we haven't seen with these other players. The last year was only worth $1.5 million but at least he retired. If the players retired it wouldn't be as much of an issue but teams of course don't want the cap penalties and it's in their best interest to keep the player on LTIR and as a bonus to the player he still gets paid..
