I am starting to lean that way that both sides want to get it done.
It could be just like when Johnny signed at the last minute before the start of camp in 2016. He didn’t want to miss any hockey so he signed the best offer at the last minute.
This is the exact same situation. Flames table their best offer and also go out and get the best trade offers. Johnny has until 12pm on the 27th to sign or he gets traded.
If Johnny wants to stay he will sign
