But let's not forget we just went through a year and half global pandemic and even when health officials say X is safe or Y is ok, many people will still hesitate. You don't just drop that overnight. That's why many people are still masking when they go indoors, or choosing not to go to big events, etc. And I support them just as much as I support a family who went to the Stampede and it was a positive experience that made them feel normal. I support people being able to choose where their line is drawn in the sand, despite it possibly being different than mine.
And regarding Stampede attendance; yes hesitancy is playing a big role, but let's not forget there are a lot of people who are in a much different financial position than they were 2 years ago and that may be contributing as well. Not to mention, little to no tourists.

OK?
Thanks for agreeing...i guess.
Really strange post.
Anyhow, I was down there for 7 or 8 hours today...damn it was hot...but other than that? Good stuff. So good too see people out and doing normal things. Great too see some youngsters laughing....my biggest takeaway.
I encourage anyone who is thinking about it to go. No its not like last time you were there but its not a whole lot different. There is no danger though unless NN becomes a spreader which seems unlikely with the protocols in place.
Lots of food, beers were cold, ladies looked wonderful and a good time was had by all from what i witnessed.
