The likelihood of that happening is very low. But if the team wants to get the best value for the asset, they need to acknowledge the condition they find themselves and make the right move at the right time. Don't let this turn into an Iginla situation where the player makes it impossible for you to get a good return, letting everyone know he has interest in only one team. If they know his intentions, get something done before its too late.
