What makes people think Gaudreau and Tkachuks next contracts aren’t going to be tough ones to sign?
Nuge and schenn at 28 signed for reasonable cap hits but got the 8 years expiring at 36 or 37 age range. Anyone think Johnny won’t be doing the same think is wrong. If we don’t give him 8 years it will be 9 per or 7.5 for 8 years. He probably will hold out for the 8 years to get the extra 15 mil. Does anyone realize that all teams know this? Good luck signing him to exactly what your comfortable with
Tkachuk too. I was optimistic that he would be reasonable until rumours come out he wants out. Good luck getting him to ink for a good contract. Maybe the blues can but we aren’t
