So true. Even if Medvedev won, he wouldn't be the favorite against Federer. Which is crazy when you consider it would have been a 25 year old #2 player in the world vs a 39 year old coming off double knee surgery.
I like Medvedev alot, but as DP said his final against Djokovic in Australia was so disappointing. Even his final at the US Open only got interesting because Nadal tightened up otherwise it would have been straight sets.
I would be so excited to see a Shapo vs Djokovic and Federer vs Felix semis because I don't think they would capitulate like so many of their generation.
