I think that was a little different. They couldn’t call anyone up because it would put them over the cap. They didn’t save any money by virtue of not having a full lineup as all the hurt guys were already counting against the cap.
Kucherov is different. I don’t know what would have happened. Waive someone that is guaranteed to be picked up I guess?
