Just for the sake of accuracy, what Friedman says in that clip is that after the "puck-flipping" incident the players held a meeting and Tkachuk felt confused by mixed-messages he was receiving. To be clear, here, we don't know what was said, nor by whom or why specifically.
I am not ready to side with anyone without knowing what actually happened and why. There are dozens of ways to spin a "players meeting which made Tkachuk upset and confused."
