Which is a far more likely answer than climate change.

While not saying climate change will never be an issue, I really think we need to stop the assumptions. Its something the media likes to panic us all with.
I read the engineering report and it outlines all kinds of deficiencies in the structure that likely caused the collapse. Because that area is susceptible to large storms those deficiencies would become worse more quickly than they would in a place like Calgary. Climate change may have played a small part if there were more, and larger, storms but the real issue is not taking care of those cracks and degraded waterproofing. That condo board is ####ed.
