We know that UAPs are flying objects close to Earth, and we know that Americans, Chinese, Russians, etc... make flying objects and that they are from Earth. That's some pretty compelling evidence IMO. Don't be surprised of what humans are capable of and the power of illusion. There was a time not that long ago that something like a helicopter would be viewed as supernatural or impossible, but humans invented it. To someone from just a couple of hundred years ago, it would have seemed unearthly. Small technological leaps can easily become exaggerated by the perception of the people viewing it.
As photon mentioned, if you see hoof prints in your yard, it could be a number of things. It could be a zebra, unicorn, or a horse. None of them would be likely in your backyard, but some are more likely than others, even if you can't officially rule the others out.
