Is a quadro gpu card that important for Revit or AutoCad? I understand that the quadro cards are designed specifically for those programs but they are pretty expensive and I wonder if a 3060 or 2070 gpu based laptop would outperform a quadro t1000 workstation.
I just wonder if its a bit of a gimmick that these "professional" cards cost 2-3x as much when a quadro t1000 is relatively comparable to a 1660. What do these professional laptops or workstations bring for 3-4k vs a comparable mid range gaming laptop 1-2k bring?
For comparison purposes this seems like a pretty good option for $1550:
ryzen 7 5800h
rtx 3060
16gb
512ssd
