The lack of electromagnetic spectrum detection from non military groups to me puts a damper on any discovery. Personally I’d believe it more likely that we are seeing glitches in a simulation than extra terrestrial life.
US or Chinese tech is the most likely explanation for any UAP that proves to be a physical object.

And the U.S. would have every reason to play dumb. They wouldn't want their adversaries to know their secrets, or for them to know that they know theirs. Not over some omnibus add-in. It's better to let the public think it could be anything, even aliens.
I also didn't think they ever denied that UAP existed. I thought it was always stated that some things can't be identified, so that admission now isn't a big deal IMO.
Many of the same UFO conspiracy enthusiasts that never trust the government are now holding this document up as some kind of strong statement, but like everything else, it has to be taken with a grain of salt.
