We knew that Rex was going to show up again at some point. As one of my favorite Clone Wars characters it was a nice hook up as well as the other major easter egg.

As one of my favorite Clone Wars characters it was a nice hook up as well as the other major easter egg. Spoiler! The ship grave yard from Fallen Order. Wonder if Cal has found his way there. We knew the chips were going to come out at some point, I just thought it would take longer. Wrecker going psycho was good, but it would have been nice to see it longer. They could have done a whole episode of cat and mouse with him. This was the second indication of a brewing rebellion, with Rex talking to an unseen party. I expect at some point we'll see Rex give up on it as eventually he ends up separated from the Rebels living his live with Wolfe and Gregor, that's why I don't think the hidden Rebel is Ahsoka, or Bail or Mon. My sense is falls in with Saw, who'd incredibly violent and extreme, gets disenfranchised and leaves. Its been a while since we've seen Cross Hair.
